Absolutely Positively Accidental Abalone!

I was playing with a sheet I had made a couple of months ago. Didn't like it....just stripes of a few colors thinned out with several layers of pearl underneath.

Was folding it and running thru the pm with the intention of fully blending it. With the silver and blue and turquoise and purple and itty bit of black and fuschia, it blends completely into a nice soft shimmery gray.

After several passes, I stopped and thought, wonder what this would look like rolled up.

So I sort of folded the sheet and rolled it and started slicing. Still didn't hit me. I covered an egg with the slices - still nothing except I was thinking this is pretty.

It was as I was smoothing the egg that it hit me - like a bolt of lightning - this stuff looks like abalone!!

I've scanned it after sanding and buffing. These scans are no finish... I'll send a sep message with the future finished ones.
